Cool guys.

I was gonna put this on the church’s page, and still might…

This of a picture of our men from church picking insulation out of a corn field.

A shepherd had his fields devastated by the recent tornadoes. Insulation (from nearby houses that had been damaged) covered his fields making planting impossible. (the insulation would poison the seed.) This is the time of the year where his hundreds of sheep are giving birth. He and his staff are VERY busy. They still must be able to plant in the spring…the corn is the source of food for his sheep and a source of income that funds the farm.

So the men went all day and filled garbage bag upon garbage bag of debris from the fields. Turning weeks worth of work into a one day job.

I’m really proud of those guys. :)

Grounds for divorce???

My dear darling husband is going to get himself in trouble.

Wanna know what he did…(of course you do)

As we all know John is OCD…and I am not. (problem number 1)

In fact I can be a little on the messy side. (problem number 2)

Anyway, apparently he didn’t like where I had put my wedding rings on the dresser because they might have fallen off. And, I guess I let them in that position a little too long…so…he hid them from me.

Of course I never said anything to him…I assumed they would turn up sometime. ( and it’s never good thing to mention you LOST your wedding rings.)

So this weekend he finally confessed he had been hiding my rings for over a month…

Alright…point made. I will use the jewlery box.

BUT.

I shall blame him for everything that comes up missing from this point on…

I love this time of year..

Sure, it will be cold again in a few days…
But we’ll take advantage of this while it lasts!

I saw a fox…

{{PD-USGov}}Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) from the US National Park Service.

That’s right. In my backyard..a fox.

I gotta say, I’m missing the city where the only wild animals I encountered were squirrels. :)

That’s all.
