Thrift store find!
February 7, 2008 So I ventured out to the thrift store Tuesday.
At home (in Ohio) I went to the thrift store often. It was fun to look around and just see what kind of interesting stuff might be there. It was like being at a giant yard sale. I could always find good stuff. Thrift stores here are a little different. (notice I used the word “venture.”)
Anyway, I went to the Goodwill to find some cheap stuff to break to use for a message examples for this weekends Young Adult Service. (to which my 5 year old asked are you sure this is the “Good” will mom?)
I came across this Pottery. I thought it was cute. It looked kind of hard to break, but it was a buck to I bought it anyway. I noticed that there was a symbol on the bottom of the pottery. Soo…I googled it when I got home. Turns out that this pottery is a little valuable! (not super valuable, but hey.)
I found a smaller Nemadji Pottery bowl by the same maker going on ebay for 60 bucks!
This baby isn’t getting broken!

Go Mandy Gail!
as I scrolled down I thought that was an organ or something. Like someone’s lung you were trying to sell on eBay.
But then I read. And it all made sense. And I cleaned up the vomit.
hehe…Neil, I could get A LOT more money out of a lung on eBay!
